Restore your energy.
Return to you.
In a world that constantly asks you to do more, give more, and move faster, this is your invitation to simply pause.
If you are feeling overwhelmed, physically exhausted, or disconnected from your body, you aren't alone—and you don't have to stay there. Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive practice that clears stagnant energy, calms the nervous system, and activates your body’s natural ability to heal.
Whether you are seeking relief from stress, navigating a major life transition, or just craving an hour of profound quiet, you are welcome here. Just as you are.
How Reiki Can Support You
Reiki works with your body’s energy field to create a ripple effect of well-being. Many clients experience:
Deep Nervous System Reset: Shifting out of "fight-or-flight" and into a state of profound relaxation.
Emotional Release: Gently unlocking and clearing stored stress, anxiety, or grief.
Physical Comfort: Easing tension, improving sleep quality, and supporting the body's natural healing.
Mental Clarity: Quieting a racing mind to reveal a sense of grounded inner peace.
What to Expect
A Reiki Session is a highly individual experience, but most people describe it as a state of deep, meditative relaxation. Because it is a non-invasive, gentle energy therapy where a practitioner places their hands lightly on or just above your body, the sensations are usually subtle but distinct.
Here is a breakdown of what you might typically feel during a session:
Physical Sensations
The most common physical response to Reiki is a change in temperature or a gentle kinetic sensation moving through the body:
Warmth or Heat: Many people report feeling a distinct, radiating heat coming from the practitioner’s hands, even if the practitioner's hands are physically cool. It often feels like a heating pad placed on the area.
Tingling or Vibrating: You might experience a light buzzing, tingling, or "pins and needles" sensation in specific areas of the body, particularly where the practitioner is channeling energy or where you hold tension.
Pulsing or Waves: Some clients describe feeling subtle ripples, waves, or a gentle pulsing motion traveling down their limbs or through their torso.
Deep Relaxation: A sense of heaviness often sets in, making you feel completely anchored to the table—almost as if you are melting into it.
Emotional and Mental Shifts
Reiki doesn't just affect the physical body; it frequently shifts your mental and emotional state:
The "Twilight" State: Most people drift into a state between waking and sleeping (the alpha or theta brainwave state). You are aware of your surroundings, but your mind quiets down significantly.
Emotional Release: It is entirely normal to feel a sudden wave of emotion—such as a sense of relief, unexpected sadness, or a burst of joy. Some people find themselves tearing up or sighing deeply as trapped emotional tension releases.
What if I don’t feel anything?
It is also common to feel absolutely nothing other than a pleasant, quiet rest.
Energy work can operates on a subtle level, and a lack of dramatic sensation simply means your body is processing the relaxation quietly.
After a session, people generally report feeling "lighter," more centered, and remarkably clear-headed, a feeling that often lingers for a few days.
